Mitsuboshi’s SUPER WEDGE II V-belt is designed for heavy-duty applications where high torques need to be transmitted and shock loads can occur easily. By using a special rubber compound mixture, together with an aramid cord and a special cover fabric, we succeeded in developing the strongest belt for applications like road grinders and wood chippers. The special clutching cover fabric allows slippage during the shock loads and avoids further damage to the whole power train.
